PERS will provide you with a Notice of Entitlement after it calculates your retirement benefit.
Examine the Notice of Entitlement carefully. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information. PERS will invoice you for overpayments that result from inaccurate information. Should you dispute any of the information, you have 240 days to file a written dispute.
