You can log onto Online Member Services (OMS) and create online benefit estimates using information stored on PERS' database that your employer(s) supplied to PERS. Alternatively, if you are within two years of retirement, you can request a written benefit estimate either by submitting an Estimate Request form or contacting Customer Service and requesting to have the form mailed to you. Important: You are not required to provide your Social Security number. You can provide your PERS number instead of your Social Security number. Failing to provide either one could delay processing your benefit estimate. PERS uses your Social Security number and PERS number for identification and tracking purposes only.
