The final paycheck deferral provision is a provision that allows you to defer accumulated vacation and/or compensation pay up to your maximum deferral amount for the calendar year. If you are retiring, terminating, changing agencies, or receiving accumulated vacation, compensation time, or back pay, you can use this provision.
To participate in the final paycheck deferral provision, you must complete a Final Paycheck Deferral Enrollment Form (available by clicking the Form button) and return it to the Salem OSGP office. The OSGP staff will compute the amount that may be deferred.
