Online Member Services (OMS) allows PERS retirees to view benefit payment information, view and request duplicate 1099Rs, and change their address information in a secure environment.
OMS allows you to view payment information for the upcoming month and payment history for the past three years. As soon as your current benefit payment is paid, you will be able to view information about your next benefit payment. If you have withdrawn your account, you can view the payment history if the withdrawal occurred within the past three years.
You can view information for the past three years. However, the information won't be in 1099R format, so you cannot print out the information to use for tax purposes. You can, however, request that PERS mail you a duplicate 1099R at your last address on record. Information will be available before January 31 of each year.
The program allows you to change your address if the next benefit payment is not in process. If you get a message that says you cannot make the change, try again in a few days. Once you make the address change, PERS will mail your next benefit payment to the new address.
